President: Virginia Cumberbatch
A native Austinite with a heart for education and nonprofit communication, Virginia took her first job out of college in communication after numerous internships in education, community relations and government. Virginia graduated from Williams College with Bachelor’s degrees in History and Sociology and a concentration in race studies in 2010. She's the Coordinator of Client Services at Hahn, Texas Communications, and assumed the role and task of relaunching the AAULYPs in the fall of 2010. She ran track in college, has a passion for God, people, untold stories and writing what people like to ignore...oh and fashion.

Vice President: Chris Howard
Christopher Howard is native of South Bend, IN. He is a graduate of Oakwood Academy and Oakwood University, one of the nations few remaining historically black high schools 1896. Christopher also holds graduate degrees from Emory University and Howard University with an emphasis on public health (MPH) and finance (MBA) disciplines. Christopher is currently employed with the Texas Department of Health and Human Services.

Treasurer: Tiffany Collins
A native Texan of Dallas, Tiffany has earned a bachelor degree in Business Administration with inferences in Finance and Banking from Sam Houston State University. Tiffany is a senior assistant manager for Springleaf Financial Services.

Secretary: Priscilla Suggs
Originally from Killeen, TX, Priscilla attended undergrad at The University of Texas at Austin and earned her BBA in Accounting and later earned an MBA from Texas A&M Central University. She currently enjoys life in Austin, Texas serving the community through various activities as often as she can. Priscilla is a senior internal auditor for the Department of Family and Protective Services.

Historian: Graham Cumberbatch
Graham is a graphic designer, writer, and stylist living in Austin, TX. He's worked in publication design, marketing and branding, journalism, editorial styling and copy writing. Previous employers and clients include TWG Plus, Austin Monthly, GQ, and Cooking Light. He likes cooking, Hanna-Barbera, '70s American cinema, Steve McQueen, '90s subcultures, and Prince. And other stuff too

Social Chair: Lola Bakare Lola was raised in Harrisburg, PA and is of Nigerian heritage. She studied English Literature at the University of Pennsylvania before starting her career in marketing at PepsiCo. She recently relocated to Austin to work as a Senior Advisor of Marketing at Dell after completing her MBA at the New York University Stern School of Business.

Public Relations Chair: Nikki Green
Native Texan with a penchant for public relations, Nikki received her BS in Communications at The University of Texas at Austin. Before starting her career in corporate communications, Nikki worked to help increase the social media capital for a local Austin non-profit organization. She now handles all communications for over 700 employees at Gitanjali Retail USA. Hook ‘Em Horns!

Political/ Education Chair: Ricardo Zavala
Born and raised in east Austin Ricardo graduated from LBJ High School and attended ACC until transferring to Texas State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Ricardo currently works for the City of Austin Health and Human Services Department as the Community Youth Development Program Coordinator.

Fundraising Chair: Sabrina Thomas
Sabrina Thomas has worked at the Health and Human Services Commission for just over 2 years. She currently serves as a Health IT Policy Specialist for Medicaid Health IT. Sabrina has also worked in various capacities in health and human services within the state level. She attended Alabama State University for her undergrad matriculation. Go Hornets!

Career Development Chair: Verick Cornett
Originally from Houston, TX Verick moved to Austin to attend The University of Texas where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Finance. After graduation, he joined Kershner Trading Group; an Austin based hedge fund as an Equities Trader. Verick currently works for an Austin based software company, BancVue Ltd., as a Consultant focused on finance.

Community Outreach: Kylia Cunningham
Kylia Cunningham comes to Austin from Warren, Ohio by way of St. Louis, Missouri - where she completed her undergraduate degree at Washington University and worked for Macy's Inc. She completed her Master of Business Administration at the University of Texas McCombs School in the Spring of 2011. She now works for Dell and enjoys volunteering with the Urban League and NBMBAA Leaders of Tomorrow, as well as listening to live music.
